Testimonial It has been my experience to observe several demonstrations of transfiguration over the years, but none have compared with the demonstration I wish to share with your readers. After a weekend meeting of people who share the same interest in the American Indians, when all of the visitors had gone home, eleven of us stayed behind to tidy the field. We sat on a collection of old logs and boxes with our cups of tea around the glowing embers of our farewell bonfire. Amongst those present at this time was Stevie Robinson and Haydn Clarke, two highly regarded Mediums living in the South East of England. I must set the scene for you. We were in a very small field surrounded by tall trees on the top of a hill overlooking Dover Harbour with just the sound of animals for company. It was a cloudless, moonlit evening in mid-September. It was suggested by one of those present that we should sit for spirit communication using only the light from the fire. Haydn agreed that he would sit for us and in his own words said “Spirit and I will give it our best”. He then closed his eyes and sat motionless than almost immediately Ectoplasm began to appear in front of his face when the group sitting around him said as one voice that this looked like Queen Victoria. My natural curiosity made me rise from my sitting position and I began to walk around Haydn, I was amazed to see clearly that there was several inches between Haydn’s face and the mask which incidentally went all the way down to the floor at both the back and the front of him. It had been my pleasure to be part of this sitting in which not only several people known and unknown appeared including of course some American Indians in Spirit. I cannot show you the things that happened, only to tell you of the sheer strength and positiveness of these spirit images. This is an account written by myself and witnessed by the others that were present at the Transfiguration sitting. Our thanks to Stevie and Haydn for this most enlightening evening. Barry Carter |
